About Porwal Jain families

Porwal (Pragvat) Jains are an old Jain community of Rajasthan, Gujarat and the Malwa region of Madhya Pradesh, with families today in cities across India and abroad.

Visa Porwal and Dasa Porwal families are mostly Shwetambar, and Padmavati Porwal families mostly Digambar. Each is listed on its own on Paraspar, so a family can be exact about where it belongs.
