About Parwar Jain families

The Parwar community is a Digambar Jain community rooted in Bundelkhand and central India. Many families come from towns such as Sagar, Damoh, Lalitpur, Tikamgarh, Jabalpur, Vidisha and Ganj Basoda, and today they also live in Bhopal, Indore, Pune, Bangalore and abroad.

A Parwar biodata usually gives the gotra together with its mur, and many families also look at the mama’s gotra before taking a proposal further.

Gotra on your profile

On Paraspar you type your gotra and mur exactly as your family writes them, in English or Hindi. Profiles with the same gotra are left out of your matches by default, and you can mention your mama’s gotra in the About section of your profile.
