Child safety

Effective 24 September 2026
In short
•
Paraspar has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation.
•
Only adults of legal marriageable age can join: 21 for men, 18 for women.
•
Report a concern from any profile or chat, or write to grievance@paraspar.in.
•
We remove it, close the account and report it to the police and cybercrime.gov.in.
Paraspar is a matrimony service for adults. These are our standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), how to report a concern, and what we do when someone does.

Our standard

Paraspar does not allow child sexual abuse and exploitation in any form. This includes child sexual abuse material (CSAM); sexual content or messages involving anyone under 18; grooming, sextortion and trafficking; and any attempt to arrange the marriage of someone below the legal age. These standards apply to profiles, photos, messages and anything else shared through Paraspar, in the app and on the website.

Who can use Paraspar

•
Paraspar is only for people who can marry under Indian law: men aged 21 or older and women aged 18 or older. A profile cannot be saved with a younger date of birth.
•
Everyone who signs up confirms that the person the profile is for is old enough to marry.
•
A person on the Paraspar team checks every profile and every photo before it goes live.
•
Photos must show only the member. Photos of children are not allowed.
•
Phone numbers and email addresses stay hidden, and messages open, only once both sides accept an interest.

How to report a concern

•
In the app or on the website: open the profile or the chat, tap the ⋯ menu and choose Report. Pick "May be under the legal age to marry", or "Something else" with a few words about what you saw.
•
By email: write to grievance@paraspar.in with "Child safety" in the subject.
•
Reports are confidential: the person is never told who reported them.
•
If a child is in immediate danger, call 112, or Childline on 1098, before anything else.

What we do

•
We deal with child-safety reports first, and act on them within 24 hours.
•
We remove the content and suspend the account straight away while we look into it, and close the account for good when the concern is confirmed.
•
We keep the evidence securely and report child sexual abuse material and exploitation to the police and to the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (cybercrime.gov.in), as the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 require.
•
We cooperate with lawful requests from law enforcement.
